BACT/ALERT® SA (CAT#: AM-FBE-0125-LC)

BACT/ALERT SA culture bottles are used to recover and detect aerobic microorganisms (bacteria and fungi) from blood and other sterile body fluids with the BACT/ALERT 3D and VIRTUO®. Bottles contain 40 mL of media and can hold a specimen volume up to 10 mL. SA culture bottles can provide a visual growth indicator for noticeable and permanent color change using colorimetric technology.
