Description
All-PTFE Seal Filter Holders manufactured by ADVANTEC MFS, Inc. contain a borosilicate glass funnel, sintered glass base or stainless steel support or PTFE support, flange and base, anodized aluminum clamp, and silicone stopper No.8. The filter is sealed between PTFE surfaces. The bottom of the funnel is coated with PTFE and the PTFE flange covers the contact surface on the glass base (except for the sintered glass base). Holders with the flange eliminates the problem of the membrane adhering to the ground glass surface post autoclaving.
