Description

This high-purity filter element is constructed entirely from perfluoroalkoxy material in all fluid-contact areas. The membrane, support layers, structural core, outer support, and end caps use the same fluoropolymer material to minimize contamination. Its chemically inert flow path is suitable for strong acids, strong alkalis, oxidizing agents, and organic solvents. The metal-free construction helps prevent ionic contamination in semiconductor and analytical processes. Pleated-membrane configurations provide high precision, flow rate, and contaminant capacity. Sintered configurations provide depth filtration, mechanical strength, and potential cleaning capability. The smooth low-surface-energy material reduces product adhesion and supports complete drainage of valuable process liquids. The cartridge remains usable across a wide temperature range for both low-temperature reagents and heated chemical processes. It is intended for electronic-grade chemicals, photoresists, developers, etchants, stripping solutions, ultrapure water, and trace-analysis reagents.
