The binary pump has extremely high flow precision in solvent mixing, suitable for a wide range of research and routine applications, and the flow range is suitable for 0.001 ml/min to 5 ml/min.

The Thermostatic Column Compartment (TCC) is a peltier-based design that provides stable operation at ambient, sub-ambient, and super-ambient temperatures.

Diode Array Detectors (PDAs) have excellent sensitivity across the entire wavelength range, including UV and visible. It features deuterium and tungsten lamps to ensure the highest light output, 1024 diodes from 190 to 950 nm and programmable slits to optimize wavelength resolution.

The Agilent 1100 Series HPLC systems are designed to continuously improve laboratory productivity by delivering consistent results and optimal instrument performance. The Agilent 1100 Modular Series ensures efficient mixing and pulse-free solvent delivery, providing users with fast and accurate results. The Agilent 1100 HPLC design builds on the legacy of the HP 1050 series and made it modular in 2000.

The 1100 Series system incorporates an electronically activated inlet valve, synchronized with piston stroke, capable of eliminating vapor formation in volatile solvents. It also features a high-speed proportional valve and a pre-configured vacuum degasser. The series is designed for operation with a handheld controller or computer running Clarity software, making operation smooth and efficient. With this highly functional and innovative system, the Agilent HPLC 1100 is extremely easy to use and maintenance free.

One of the key features of an in-line vacuum degasser is that it reduces operating costs and ensures top-notch performance without the use of helium. HPLC system configuration

The modularity of the Agilent 1100 HPLC hardware allows for many different configurations. Combinations of various modules including pumps and detectors are possible in order to meet certain applications and requirements. GMI can accommodate and support all of these, including mass spectrometers. A typical configuration includes pumps, detectors, autosamplers, vacuum degassers, solvent modules, clarity software, computer systems, HPIB cables, and manuals.

Modules include 1100 Series IV, Equal Frequency or Binary Pumps, 1100 Series Variable Wavelength Detector (VWD), Diode Array Detector (DAD), Refractive Index (RI), or Fluorescence (FLD G1329) detectors. Both VWD and DAD use holmium oxide filters for automatic wavelength verification and tracking of detector performance characteristics. The Agilent 1100 detector also features a new design that allows front-channel exchange of flow cells and pre-aligned lamps.
