Advantec Cellulose Extraction Thimbles manufactured by ADVANTEC MFS, Inc. are seamless and manufactured from high purity alpha cotton cellulose. They are ideal for extraction of soluble components from foods, feeds, and oil seeds with organic solvents for the determination of fats and oils, as well as extraction and concentration of non-aqueous chemicals or additives from a solid sample for analysis such as HPLC or gas chromatography for PCB and pesticides.
