The ABI 3130xl DNA Sequencer is a 16-capillary instrument. It can run a wide variety of sequencing and fragment analysis applications (including microsatellite analysis, AFLP, LOH, SNP validation, and SNP screening). The instrument reduces maintenance time due to the automated polymer delivery system (eliminating the need for manual syringe washing and filling), increases data quality (with longer read lengths, higher overall resolution, and shorter run times), and increases lab productivity and turnaround time. We offer original 3130xl instruments and upgraded 3130 to 3130xl instruments as well.
