The 7890B GC System is manufactured by Agilent Technologies, with accurate temperature control and accurate sample introduction systems, and high-performance electronic pneumatic control (EPC) modules for optimal retention time and peak area reproducibility.

• Retention time lock (RTL) to maintain the exact retention time between different injections, different columns, different instruments and different laboratories
• Microplate flow control technology (CFT) provides unique instrument functions
• Monofilament TCD does not require a separate reference gas, nor does it require manual adjustment of the potentiometer, providing a stable baseline with minimal drift
• FID, which automatically adjusts the detection range, enables detection and quantitative analysis in the range of parts per billion (ppb) to parts per thousand in a single injection
