This sanitary filter housing is designed for sterilizing filtration of large-volume infusion and injectable pharmaceutical liquids. The primary housing material is 316L stainless steel, with 304 stainless steel also listed as an available construction option. Its streamlined internal geometry is designed to minimize crevices and simplify complete cleaning. Internal surfaces can be mirror polished or electropolished. The housing accepts PES, nylon, PP, PTFE, PVDF, and other compatible pleated cartridges. Flat-end, threaded, 222 insertion, and 226 bayonet cartridge interfaces can be used. Threaded, sanitary-clamp, and flange process connections support integration into different production lines. Food-grade silicone seals and quick-release closures simplify disassembly and maintenance. Every housing is hydrostatically tested at 1.25 times the design pressure before release.
