Its antimicrobial ABS housing helps reduce the formation of biofilms and the growth of sanitation-resistant microorganisms on the instrument surface. The fine needle probe is suitable for measuring thin foods such as patties, poultry portions, and fish fillets. The instrument measures temperatures from -40 to 155°C with range-dependent accuracy. A response time of less than six seconds supports rapid spot inspections. The large dual-scale LCD displays readings in either Celsius or Fahrenheit. Automatic calibration supports routine verification of measurement performance. The sealed IP56 enclosure can be disinfected and resists water and grease.
