Tris-Borate-EDTA (TBE) Buffer is widely used for preparing agarose gels and as a running buffer in nucleic acid or protein electrophoresis, particularly for analyzing undenatured double-stranded DNA. Composed of Tris, boric acid, and EDTA, it maintains stable pH, prevents nucleic acid degradation and protein aggregation, and ensures sufficient ionic conductivity for efficient electrophoresis.
