G-Tube Flat Top Microcentrifuge Tubes manufactured by BIO PLAS., INC. are made of tough, clear, proprietary formulated polypropylene. The G-Tube has the same chemical resistant quality as standard tubes, but it is sturdier and virtually transparent to give a better view. The non-wettable walls prevent liquids from adhering to the sides. Thicker walls make this the tube ideal for high impact usage, such as extreme stress, high spinning speeds, autoclaving, boiling, chemical resistance and freezing. The flat top lid offers an extra-tight seal that will not come open during processing. When the cap is closed there will be an audible "snap" that indicates a secure closure has been formed. The piercing port in the exact center of the cap allows easy needle access. Textured writing surface on top of the caps and on the side of the tubes provides large area for recording.
