Description

Light sheet microscopy can quickly image large 3D biological samples, such as whole rodent organs, embryos or larvae. Compared to other current fluorescence microscopy techniques, only a single plane of the labeled sample is illuminated perpendicular to the detection direction. Using this decoupled optical path can be achieved
Fast, true volume, depth imaging, light damage and bleaching effects are extremely low. Based on this technology, UltraMicroscope II opens up new ways to study the entire biological system and process in physiologically representative 3D samples.
