Description

JACE® consists of autologous epidermis produced from isolated keratinocytes cultured from a patient's skin. Epidermal sheets are produced to treat scars, vitiligo, moles (birthmarks), ulcers, skin graft donor sites, severe burns and other diseases. In patients with skin damage, epithelial cells start to produce colonies within 3 days after implantation. Cultured allografts can not be detected 1 month after implantation and integration into the skin, which means regeneration is induced.
