The VorTemp 56 Shaking Incubator with interchangeable platforms is designed to simultaneously incubate and shake microplates and microtubes. The temperature of the VorTemp 56 Shaking Incubator can be adjusted over a wide range, making the device suitable for a wide range of laboratory applications, including bacterial culture in tubes and microplates. Mechanical convection can provide a uniform and stable environment in the laboratory incubator. VorTemp 56 Shaking Incubator is also suitable for sub-ambient applications in cold rooms. The speeds of shaking and acceleration are adjustable. The acceleration can be set to three different levels for protection of delicate samples. The parameters including temperature and timed operation are controlled by microprocessor. The self-diagnostic software perform continuous monitoring of the temperature and shaking rate to warn the user of any errors. VorTemp™56's rugged structure makes it stable during high-speed shaking, and has good insulation, which can maintain the incubation temperature and reduce operating noise.
