The XFD-3 is a Individual-Cell flotation machine for larger-volume laboratory mineral-processing experiments. It is suitable for geological, metallurgical, chemical, mining, building-material, and scientific research applications. The machine supports sample agitation, scrubbing, flotation separation, and cleaning. Its 3 L cell combines aeration, slurry suction, and flotation functions in one circuit. The self-contained structure reduces dependence on external flotation equipment. Rational slurry circulation limits the settling of coarse particles during extended tests. An adjustable slurry-level mechanism supports convenient and repeatable process control. Upper and lower impeller blades produce opposing circulation patterns for effective mixing. The larger cell capacity is suitable for process-development and scale-up studies using increased sample quantities.
