The Wolf Liberator Plus X-Ray Illuminators manufactured by Wolf X-Ray Corporation provide 5150 Candela per square meter using four bulbs in each 14 x 17 inch viewing area. The Liberator Illuminator's unique design attaches the film grip to the plexiglass front to form a perfect film holding assembly that never goes out of alignment. The entire plexiglass panel and grip assembly are attached to the unit body with magnets, so it is easy to remove them with a just simple pull while maintaining they stay in place when required. This magnetic assembly also make it easy to change light bulbs and clean.
The Liberator Illuminator also features automatic on/off when film is placed and removed, manual power switch for each viewing area, and cluster switches for 2-over-2 and up units. The X-Ray Illuminators come with hospital grade spark-proof plugs. Since the using of 4 bulb illuminators needs increased amperage, the Liberator should have dedicated electric power lines.
The Wolf Liberator X-Ray Illuminator feature a E-Z bar for mounting on the wall. The optional recessing kit available in Standard or Stainless Steel model is sold for mounting flush with the wall. The desk-style Wolf Mobile Stand (different from that of single unit illuminator) is also available for seated x-ray viewing in any location. Model 22801 Single Unit Illuminator provides a desk stand that allow the illuminator to be mounted on any flat desk surface.
