Wallac 1450 MicroBeta TriLux Liquid Scintillation Counter & Lumi, model 8381-30-1000, is manufactured by Wallac. The Wallac MicroBeta® TriLux is the leading multi-detector liquid scintillation counter and luminometer today. This model is best used for liquid scintillation or luminescence detection of samples in microplates, tubes or filters.
Three MicroBeta® models meet specific needs. Two variants, with sample capacities of up to 16 or 32 plates,can be loaded manually. The third model boasts of a fully automated loading procedure through the use of robotic loading systems. External loading platforms are fitted into the last model.
The Wallac 1450 MicroBeta® TriLux works well for assays that use 3H, 14C, 32P, 33P, 35S, 51Cr, 125I and glow-type luminescence labels. This instrument also delivers an excellent performance when used with ScintiPlate, FlashPlate and other scintillation proximity assays. In addition to microtitration plates, the 1450 TriLux counts filters and tubes.
