Heating elements on three walls, base and door create a warm air jacket around the interior to ensure superior temperature uniformity with no hot spots. The warm-air jacket is also designed to provide rapid temperature recovery and has a full interior glass door for viewing specimens while the interior atmosphere is undisturbed. There is no need to worry about damage to the heating element due to leakage - the inner cavity is welded and the low watt density heating element is safely isolated from the working cavity. Microprocessor control, keyboard setup and calibration are convenient. The temperature display can be calibrated to match the second thermometer. Over-temperature protection, a second independent safety controller can be preset, and a visual alarm is displayed when it is started. All units are stackable, no spacer is required. Chart recorder with through-wall access port. A UL-listed, air-tight electrical outlet is housed in a sealed room. Adjustable leveling feet compensate for uneven surfaces. Shelves are adjustable in 1.3 cm (1/2") increments.
