The Tunair^TM Shake Flask manufactured by IBI features unique baffle and turbo-vane closure design for high O2 absorption rate. The uniform and consistent gas diffusion is ensure by CAP-FLO^TM closure with DRI-GAUZE^TM filter lining.
Flasks, closures, filters or membrane linings are autoclavable. The wide-mouth facilitates the preparation, collection of the culture medium and cleaning of flask. Compared with the traditional Erlenmeyer flask, the barrel-shaped design can provide wider vortex and larger operating capacity. The non-slip cover prevents airborne particles from entering into the flask neck and eliminates the need for flaming. Compared with Erlenmeyer flasks, it provides better culture growth and productivity.
