The Sysmex K-4500 is a technologically advanced, computerized, fully automated hematology analyzer for in vitro diagnostics in clinical laboratories. The K-4500 provides accurate screening for patients whose hematological abnormalities suggest further testing. In addition, the analyzer facilitates patient diagnosis and therapy monitoring.

The Sysmex K-4500 Hematology Analyzer has 18 parameter test results plus three histograms, three-part WBC differential, high performance 80 samples per hour, and a reliable DC detection method. Additionally, the system features a cap punch sampler and microprocessor programming for efficient walking automation.

Equipped with a barcode facility, the Sysmex K-4500 analyzer increases system efficiency. The system is also equipped with an autosampler for handling large volumes of samples. Sysmex automated blood analyzers offer two types of QC: individual QC, which is performed on individual samples, and statistical QC, which uses statistical methods. Furthermore, the system allows for various system setups to suit each laboratory's needs and criteria for flagging acquired outliers.
