And it is especially useful for breaking surface tension in wet sieving. It accommodates nonstandard diameters that cannot be adapted to the Model SS-8R Sieve Shaker. Even users of standard 3" and 6" sieves with limited sieving work or lab space may prefer the lower-cost alternative of Vibra Pad for applications where limited vibration action is sufficient.
Vibration intensity is set by knob position. Use Vibra Pad with Microsplitter when sampling sticky or nearsize materials, for compaction and settling tests of powders, for bubble removal or for dispersing of powders in liquids, to accelerate liquid-liquid separations, and more.
