The Sorenson^TM Low Binding Aerosol Barrier Tips manufactured by Sorenson BioScience is designed for liquid handling in molecular biology applications, such as PCR. The tip adopts a new surface technology, which is designed for quantitative analysis, in which resutls will be significantly affected by sample binding, or for critical small-volume experimental programs that require high accuracy. An inert hydrophobic barrier prevents contamination of the pipette.
