The Shandon Varistain 24-4 is an automatic carousel-type slide stainer designed to deliver simplicity and versatility in histology and cytology staining applications. Capable of single load, double load and continuous throughput, the Shandon slide stainer uses laboratory reagents and routines to perform with exceptional reliability.
The reliable Varistain 24-4 stainer carries three memory banks. This allows the operator to program up to three 24-step routines or six 12-step routines – each locked into the instruments non-volatile program memory. The Varistain system allows matching procedures with stains. This Shandon Varistain stainer also gives you control over your staining results, and responds instantly to changing conditions through touch-button selection.
The Shandon Varistain 24-4 slide stainer was designed with enhanced safety in mind. The stainer maintains a safe proximity between users and potentially harmful stains and reagents, giving the operator uninterrupted time for other important tasks. Additionally, the unit stains slide-mounted specimens consistently run after run.
