This reversed-phase medium is designed for purification of small molecules, peptides, low-molecular-weight proteins, and other biomolecules. It uses a porous polystyrene-divinylbenzene matrix with a large internal surface area. The rigid polymer provides strong chemical and physical stability. Its broad pH tolerance permits conditions that are unsuitable for many silica-based media. The 30 µm particles support rapid preparative separations. High dynamic loading improves productivity and reduces column volume requirements. The medium tolerates common aqueous buffers and a wide range of organic solvents. Strong acid, alkaline, and organic cleaning solutions can be used within the stated compatibility limits. The product is suitable for fast and efficient reversed-phase chromatography.
