This reversed-phase chromatography medium is designed for high-resolution purification of small molecules, peptides, low-molecular-weight proteins, and related biomolecules. It uses a porous polystyrene-divinylbenzene polymer matrix. The 15 µm particle size provides greater chromatographic efficiency than larger preparative particles. A 300 Å pore structure supports access by peptides and relatively larger biomolecules. The rigid polymer matrix tolerates high pressure and fast flow. Broad pH stability allows acidic, neutral, and alkaline process conditions. The material is compatible with many aqueous buffers and organic solvents. High dynamic loading supports productive preparative purification. Storage in aqueous ethanol maintains the medium before use.
