Description

This cell-culture microcarrier is designed for suspension cultivation of anchorage-dependent cells. It uses a dextran-based matrix derived from Seplife G50. Positively charged DEAE groups cover the particle surface and promote cell attachment. The microcarrier is suitable for more than 60 reported cell types. It provides a large effective growth area for high-density cell expansion. The low buoyant density supports suspension and mixing in cell-culture vessels. The particles swell in physiological saline to form the working microcarrier size. Functional testing with Vero cells confirms suitable cell-growth performance relative to the control. The product is intended for vaccine, recombinant protein, and related biological-product manufacturing.
