Description

These gel-filtration media are designed for size-based separation, purification, and analysis of biomolecules. They use crosslinked polyacrylamide microspheres with different controlled pore sizes. Molecules are separated according to their ability to enter the internal pore network. Larger molecules are excluded from more pores and therefore elute earlier. Smaller molecules access a greater pore volume and elute later. Multiple swelling grades and molecular-weight ranges support desalting and fractionation applications. Particle-size options include fine, medium, and coarse grades for different resolution and flow requirements. The hydrophilic matrix limits nonspecific hydrophobic interaction with biological samples. Uniform pore distribution and high mechanical strength support reproducible chromatographic performance.
