The Recombinant Murine IFN-γ Protein manufactured by Seafrom is suitable for immunomodulatory effects and antiviral activity. Interferon-gamma (IFN-γ) is an unstable interferon produced by CD4 and CD8 T lymphocytes, as well as activated natural killer (NK) cells. IFN-γ receptors are present in most immune cells, and they respond to IFN-γ signaling by increasing the surface expression of class I gamma proteins. This facilitates antigen presentation to T-helper (CD4+) cells. IFN-γ signaling plays a role in antigen presentation, cell and antigen recognition by B and T lymphocytes, and regulates the antigen-specific immune response phase. Moreover, IFN-γ stimulates various lymphocyte functions, including antimicrobial and antitumor responses in macrophages, NK cells, and neutrophils. Human IFN-γ is species-specific and exhibits biological activity only in human and primate cells. The lyophilized product can be stored at 2-8°C for 24 months. For reconstitution, it can be dissolved in injectable water, saline solution, culture medium, or PBS. After dissolution, it should be aliquoted, with a recommended storage period of 6 months at -20°C and 12 months at -80°C. When diluting, ensure a final concentration of no less than 100μg/mL and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
