The Recombinant Human NKG2D/CD314 (His-Avi Tag) manufactured by Yisheng is suitable for studying NKG2D-mediated immune responses and potential applications in cell therapy.
NKG2D is a type II transmembrane glycoprotein expressed on CD8+ alpha beta T cells, gamma delta T cells, NK cells, NKT cells, and, in mouse systems, on macrophages. It recognizes ligands such as MICA, MICB, and ULBP1, 2, and 3, which are expressed in epithelial cells, tumor cells, and under conditions of stress or infection. NKG2D delivers an activating signal upon ligand binding and plays a role in anti-tumor surveillance and the immune response against viral infection.

Source: Recombinant Human NKG2D / CD314 Protein is expressed from HEK293 Cells with His tag and Avi tag at the N-terminal. It contains Phe78-Val216.
Molecular Weight: Approximately 19 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 36-38 kDa based on Tris-Bis PAGE result.
Physical Appearance: Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
Purity: > 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE
Activity: ELISA Data: Immobilized Human NKG2D, His Tag at 1 μg/mL (100 μL/well) on the plate. Dose response curve for Anti-NKG2D Antibody, hFc Tag with the EC50 of 4.7 ng/mL determined by ELISA.
Endotoxin: < 1.0 EU per 1μg of the protein by the LAL method.
Formulation: Lyophilized from 0.22 μm filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4). Normally 5% trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.
Reconstitution: Centrifuge tubes before opening. Reconstituting to a concentration more than 100 μg/mL` is recommended (usually we use 1 mg/mL solution for lyophilization). Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water.
