The Recombinant Human IL-3 Protein manufactured by Seafrom is suitable for supporting the growth and differentiation of hematopoietic cells. IL-3 is a hematopoietic growth factor that promotes the survival, differentiation, and proliferation of progenitor cells in megakaryocytes, granulocytes-macrophages, red blood cells, eosinophils, basophils, and mast cells. It is produced by T cells, mast cells, and eosinophils and enhances platelet production, phagocytosis, and antibody-mediated cytotoxicity. Its ability to activate monocytes suggests that IL-3 may have additional immunoregulatory effects. Many of the activities of IL-3 depend on synergistic stimulation with other cytokines. IL-3 is a species-specific and variably glycosylated cytokine. Lyophilized preparations can be stored at 2~8°C for 24 months. For aliquoting, they can be reconstituted with injection water, physiological saline, culture medium, or PBS. After reconstitution, divide into smaller portions and store at -20°C for 6 months or at -80°C for 12 months. The final concentration after dilution should not be lower than 100μg/mL. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
