The Recombinant Human IL-11 Protein manufactured by Seafrom is suitable for anti-inflammatory effects and hematopoiesis. IL-11 is a multifunctional cytokine produced by stromal cells such as fibroblasts, epithelial cells, and osteoblasts. It is expressed in various tissues, including the thymus, lungs, bones, connective tissues, and the central nervous system. IL-11 plays a crucial regulatory role in hematopoiesis by stimulating the growth of bone marrow, red blood cell, and megakaryocyte progenitor cells. It also regulates bone metabolism, suppresses the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines, and helps prevent gastric mucosal damage. The lyophilized form can be stored at 2-8°C for 24 months. If reconstitution is necessary, it can be dissolved in injection-grade water, saline, culture medium, or PBS. After reconstitution, it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C for 6 months or -80°C for 12 months, with a recommended minimum concentration of 100 μg/mL. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
