The Recombinant Human IL-10 Protein manufactured by Seafrom is suitable for studying anti-inflammatory effects and immune regulation. Interleukin-10 (IL-10) is an immunosuppressive cytokine produced by various mammalian cell types, including macrophages, monocytes, T cells, B cells, and keratinocytes. IL-10 inhibits the expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines such as IL-1 and TNF-α. Similar to IL-4, IL-10 enhances humoral immune responses while dampening cell-mediated immune responses. Human interleukin-10 is active on mouse cells, while mouse interleukin-10 is not active on human cells. The lyophilized form can be stored at 4°C for 24 months. If reconstitution is necessary, it can be dissolved in injection-grade water, saline, culture medium, or PBS. After reconstitution, it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C for 6-12 months, while avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
