This strong anion-exchange medium is designed for downstream purification of proteins, nucleic acids, and peptides. It uses a highly crosslinked agarose matrix functionalized with quaternary ammonium groups. The permanently charged ligand provides strong anion-exchange binding over a broad operating range. The 24-44 µm particles improve mass transfer and chromatographic resolution. A BSA adsorption capacity above 70 mg/mL supports preparative capture and polishing. The medium provides flow above 150 cm/h under the stated test conditions. Low nonspecific adsorption contributes to product recovery and separation consistency. Broad chemical and pH stability support repeated cleaning, regeneration, and steam treatment.
