PYREX^® Glass Pestle Tissue Grinder manufactured by Corning is designed for initial grinding and final homogenization in the same sequence of oper­ations. The lower conical section is mainly used for the initial grinding. To assist in this work the clearance between mortar and pestle is adjustable at will by raising or lowering the pestle. The upper cylindrical section is intended for the final homogenization.
