This 24# PTFE stirring stopper is intended for laboratory vessels requiring a rotating stirrer and sealed environment. The stopper contains an O-ring to maintain system sealing around the stirring shaft. Its low-friction PTFE surface allows the shaft to rotate with minimal resistance. The material resists permanent deformation during repeated use. It is suitable for temperatures up to 280°C. PTFE remains inert toward most chemical reagents and common laboratory solvents. The stopper also provides mechanical resilience at temperatures as low as -196°C. Its nonstick and weather-resistant surface maintains performance over extended service.
