Description

This PTFE double-layer three-blade propeller paddle is designed for demanding overhead mixing. Its shaft is reinforced by a stainless-steel core and fully covered with PTFE. Two propeller levels act on different vertical zones of the sample. Each layer has relatively low individual resistance compared with a single larger blade. The paired three-blade propellers promote repeated upward and downward circulation. This structure is suitable for samples with some viscosity or relatively large mixing volumes. The paddle operates in an axial flow pattern at medium speed. PTFE provides chemical resistance, heat tolerance, low adhesion, and smooth operation.
