Description

This PTFE crescent paddle is designed for electric stirring in larger laboratory containers. Its 700 mm shaft provides extended reach for deep-vessel applications. The shaft contains a 5 mm stainless-steel core for rigidity. PTFE fully covers the shaft and blade surfaces exposed to the liquid. The movable 145 mm crescent blade can be inserted through a comparatively small vessel mouth. Its large curved profile is suitable for broad round-bottom mixing areas. The paddle generates axial flow at medium speed for low- to medium-viscosity liquids. The material resists heat, corrosion, sticking, weathering, and many aggressive solvents.
