Description

This PTFE crescent stirring paddle is compatible with electric overhead stirrers. The shaft uses a stainless-steel core covered completely by PTFE. Its movable crescent blade simplifies placement into vessels with smaller necks. The 100 mm blade is suited to larger mixing zones and rounded-bottom containers. Axial flow moves liquid along the central vertical direction during rotation. The paddle is intended for low- to medium-viscosity samples at medium speed. PTFE protects the wetted surface from strong acids, alkalis, and many organic solvents. It also provides low friction, nonstick behavior, and resistance to temperatures up to 280°C.
