PTFE Crescent Stirring Paddle, 250 mm Shaft and 45 mm Blade (CAT#: STEM-BC-3465-ZJF)

Highlights

Movable crescent blade

Narrow-neck vessel access

Curved-bottom compatibility

Cat Number: STEM-BC-3465-ZJF

Application: for axial mixing in small-neck round-bottom vessels

Model: 250/7/45mm

Description

This PTFE crescent stirring paddle is designed for use with an electric overhead stirrer. Its shaft contains a stainless-steel core covered by a PTFE sleeve. The movable crescent blade can pass through relatively narrow vessel openings. Its curved shape follows the contour of round-bottom containers more closely than a straight blade. The paddle produces axial flow for medium-speed mixing. It is intended for low- to medium-viscosity liquids. The PTFE exterior resists strong acids, strong alkalis, and many organic solvents. It also provides nonstick performance and can withstand working temperatures up to 280°C.
