PREP C20 is a fully-automatic preparative pilot plant type instrument designed for chromatographic column-based fractionation of a large amount of polymer according to its molar mass or chemical composition through the temperature-rising elution fractionation (TREF) process. The solvent power is usually changed by a solvent-non-solvent combination under isothermal conditions.
Specification
Type:Preparative Fractionation
Features
Fully automatic preparation and fractionation Up to 20 grams of polymer, depending on the sample Column-based fractionation Unlimited number of fractions (up to 9 fractions, no need to change bottles) Does not handle hot solvents Fractional distillation mode by TREF technique or by molar mass by solvent-non-solvent method. With the integrated compressor (no liquid coolant required), subambient operation can be achieved. Through the exchange column, fractionation can be performed by thermal gradient or solvent gradient interaction chromatography.
