These platinum combustion boats from Birmingham Metals have excellent resistance to acids such as acetic, hydrochloric, hydrofluoric, hydroiodic, nitric, selenic, and sulfuric, as well as oxidation resistance at high temperatures. Boats can be cleaned by boiling in a suitable solvent. To remove the substances that form alloys with the surface, please wash with alumina powder. Boats are available in 3 mL, 4 mL, 6 mL, 9 mL, and 12 mL capacities.
