Planar Biaxial TestBench provides superior control and unmatched performance in the characterization of material and soft tissue. Using this instrument, you can evaluate the mechanical anisotropy and stress-strain relationships in a sample, ranging from engineering equipment (including wearable sensors and wound repair meshes) to tissues (such as skin, pericardium, and heart valve leaflets). The instrument can be configured with two or four ElectroForce linear motors installed on a horizontal base plate, and load cell options for each axis of loading.
