The Petri Dishes, Polystyrene manufactured by Excel Scientific, Inc. feature flared lid skirt for easy one hand operation. The edges of tops and bottoms are squared off for secure grip. Flare and length of lid skirt makes lid to be removed and replaced easily. There are three venting ribs on the underside of the lid to reduce condensation during incubation.
