The Perkin Elmer Wallac 1420 Victor 2™ is a high-performance microplate reader that can be used for multitasking functions. The instrument is designed to meet the rigorous requirements of biotechnology, industrial and academic laboratories. Users can take advantage of the multiple detection technologies installed in the Wallac 1420 Victor 2™ Microplate Reader.

A successor to the Wallac VICTOR multi-tag reader, the Victor 2™ reader is capable of accessing more than ten counting modes at a given time. This improvement covers all major non-radioactive counting techniques. Filling, emptying and flushing operations can be performed by using supplementary injectors. The model is available in microtiter plates from 1 to 864 wells. The Victor 2™ Microplate Reader also accepts Petri dishes, glass slides, filters and Terasaki plates.

The Perkin Elmer Victor 2™ Reader is a top-of-the-line benchtop device that can be used as a stand-alone instrument or with additional input and output stacks and bottom reading optics. Phosphor and flash injectors are optional upgrades for increased productivity. Other useful enhancements include dispenser modules, temperature control, bottom readout and high density readout.
