PCR Workstations, Mystaire (CAT#: STEM-LE-0543-LC)

Mystaire PCR Prep Station is a compact laminar flow hood that reduces the risk of sample contamination when performing polymerase chain reaction experiments. The air is filtered by a constant positive pressure HEPA to prevent air pollutants from entering the work area. Each PCR Prep Station is equipped with a built-in 254 nanometer short-wave lamp, which can effectively purify the working area between two amplifications. All PCR preparation stations are equipped with safety interlocks to prevent operators from being exposed to potentially harmful ultraviolet radiation. The MY-PCR pretreatment station is a desktop personal cleansing area that allows operators to amplify RNA and DNA while minimizing the possibility of background from airborne contaminants.
