The NuAire LabGard ES (Energy Saver) NU-425 Class II, Type A2 Biological Safety Cabinet is designed for laboratory safety, proper ergonomics and energy efficiency at an affordable cost. Featuring an integrally compacted construction, the cabinet has been tested to extremes in the laboratory to ensure maximum protection. Models are the 2-ft. NU-425-200, 3-ft. NU-425-300, 4-ft. NU-425-400, and 6-ft. NU-425-600.
The LabGard NU-425 biological safety cabinet is designed for simplified operation with a basic control system. Controls include simple switches to control fans, lights, and outlets, a Minihelic® pressure gauge to measure plenum performance, and an Attenumount™ Vibration Control System for extraordinary attenuation of sound and vibration. In addition, cabinets are equipped with high-efficiency, energy-efficient motors/blowers to increase filter life, reduce electricity costs, and increase the total value of ownership.
The LabGard NU-425 also incorporates ergonomics to reduce user fatigue and/or stress on the arms/neck/shoulders. NuAire cabinet models offer maximum knee/thigh clearance, an adjustable base, a heavy-duty plastic armrest, and a large work area. Additionally, cool white lighting reduces glare and allows for greater visibility.
Other benefits of NU workstations include TruLaminar airflow, which provides unidirectional airflow at a constant velocity along parallel streamlines, and the HEPEX™ zero-leak airflow system, which provides a positive plenum and piping surrounded by negative pressure to eliminate any potential leaks .
