Description

New Brunswick's BioFlo 110 modular fermentors and bioreactors are versatile enough to meet specific laboratory needs. This powerful model has been designed to simplify the process for hassle-free processing. As a result, demanding laboratories are able to increase biomass production to keep up with dynamic research demands.

The BioFlo 110 fermenter automates the procedure to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the results. Operators can set pH and dissolved oxygen (DO) points, which can be automatically maintained with this modular fermenter. The user can control the pH by adding a cascade of gases, acids or bases. Gas or added agitation can also be used for DO operation. Users can also increase control flexibility by adjusting pH and DO P-I-D values.

Equipment operators can choose to use manual rotameters or digital mass flow controls for gas flow management. The New Brunswick adapter also offers a wide range of options by adjusting the probe immersion length. Magnetic drive and direct drive options are also available for cell culture applications. The fermentation process uses direct drive as standard.

New Brunswick also improved the control and data logging efficiency of the BioFlo 110 modular fermenter and bioreactor, which uses NBS BioCommand® software and its Modbus compatibility.
