Description

The SpectraMax® M2 and M2e systems from Molecular Devices are multiplexed microplate readers with dual monochromators, dual mode tube ports, and top and bottom reading capabilities (top reading only on M2). Detection methods include absorbance (UV-Vis Abs) and fluorescence intensity (FI). Endpoint, kinetic, spectral and area well scan read types and PathCheck® sensors allow for homogeneous and heterogeneous microplate analysis in one flexible system. The SpectraMax M2 reader can be easily converted and optimized for very low-throughput to medium-high throughput analysis, faster, more accurate results and saving reagents. Additionally, by issuing a single read command, combined absorbance and fluorescence intensity assays can be run.
