The Molecular Devices Gemini XS Fluorescence Microplate Reader lets you experiment with a wide variety of fluorophores and even find optimal excitation and emission wavelengths for new assays. The Gemini XS can read a variety of sample formats from 6- to 384-well microplates in endpoint, kinetic, spectral scan, and well scan modes. It also eliminates the need for wavelength filters with a dual monochromator design with excitation and emission wavelengths selected between 250 and 850 nm. The Gemini XS is a highly accurate machine capable of high reproducibility, providing RFU comparison between samples, consistent temperature monitoring, sample mixing via Automix, and correct AutoPMT e-reader settings.
