The EQ-6K is a compact mini centrifuge for routine molecular-biology sample handling. It is used for component separation, collection of small droplets, and microfiltration tasks. The centrifuge accepts common PCR tubes and multi-tube strip formats through interchangeable rotors and adapters. A lid-linked safety system stops rotation when the cover is opened. The compact housing is intended for convenient movement and individual bench use. The drive system provides rapid acceleration and braking for short spin-down operations. Rotor changes can be performed without dedicated tools. The instrument provides a small-footprint centrifugation option for PCR and general microtube workflows.
